Gerena was looking to fill a gap in the tourism market in Luss and Helensburgh and the wider area of Argyll. Provide lovely short walks, that are easily accessible with a local guide and learn about Scottish history, culture, and geography of the area. From a local guide’s point of view, you are having a deeper connection with the landscape, culture and customs.

Gerena’s experience as a VisitScotland advisor for a tourist information centre meant she knew a lot of local walks already and had contacts with local attractions to find out what’s happening in the area.

Argyll Walks offers day walks, ninety-minute history walks, consecutive mountain day walks and long-distance trails in easy to manage terrain over five to ten miles per day. The walks are easy to chat and walk at the same time and stop and admire the views.
